    EMERGENCY FOOD RATIONS
    NRG-5 / NRG-M

    Product Description:
    The NRG-5 rations are developed for use in emergency situations where speed and ease of preparations are important, to supplement or replace diets of people under stress due to natural or manmade disasters and in situations where food and energy sources are scarce or non-existent.

    Each NRG-5 ration of 500g 2-day ration consists of 9 compressed food bars, individualy packed in PE-foil. The NRG-5 rations are added with extra vitamins and minerals.

    NRG-5 is also available in a 250g ration pack as NRG-M which provides the minimum daily nutrition for an adult. Because of the compact dimension of the 1-day ration,
    NRG-M is mainly used from civil defence organisations, military bodies and for sport- and outdoor activities.

    The NRG-5 and NRG-M bars are suitable for direct consumption by children and adults (no heating necessary) as a biscuit, or, if water is added, a porridge or energy drink can be prepared. Because of the long shelf life of the product (min 5 years), it can be stored for a long period of time for emergency preparedness.

    NRG-5 and NRG-M contains no fat or meat from animal.

    Application:
    • Eat in small pieces and chew well. 4-5 bars (250g) will provide the minimum daily energy and nutrition for an adult.
    • Mix NRG-5 with drinking water to prepare an energy drink
    • Mix 1 part NRG-5 with 2 parts drinking water to prepare a porridge
